Your images are never uploaded. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookie. We hold nothing about you because we collect nothing.
Every image you drop is read, resized and re-encoded by your own browser on your own device. Nothing is transmitted to us, because there is no server to transmit it to — this is a static site. Once you close the tab, nothing remains anywhere.
You can prove it: load the page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool still works.
Browsers cannot decode HEIC, so the first time you drop one, your browser downloads a decoder file from this site. That is a normal file download — your photo is not sent anywhere. Decoding happens on your device like everything else.

The only thing stored on your device is your light or dark theme choice, kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your machine and we cannot read it.

The site is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
If this ever changes — in particular if any feature required uploading images — we would update this page before shipping it, not afterwards.
